Prescriber education survey report

Background to the survey

The prescriber education survey is just one of the ways we collect valuable feedback from prescribers to better understand how the EnableNSW clinical service program assists prescribers in their own work and highlights ways in which we can improve. The prescriber education survey is emailed to all EnableNSW prescribers and the results from the survey assist in future planning and programming.

Results from the survey

The recent survey of August 2019 has provided excellent insight from prescribers across all Local Health Districts (LHDs) as well as prescribers from St Vincent’s Hospital and the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network. We are pleased to let you know the following results:

  • 89% satisfaction rate, particularly for prescribers who attend face-to-face education sessions
  • Over 90% of respondents indicated EnableNSW continues to have a key role in training of Assistive Technology (AT)
  • The Advisor On Call service is valued by prescribers, assisting them in their understanding of EnableNSW, equipment prescription, and submission of requests

As part of our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, the survey highlighted key areas which may need further development. These areas will be closely considered as we continue to develop the prescriber engagement and education program for the next two years.
