The majority of the items we fund across all programs are products on contract with NSW Health.
There are several ways to secure contract status – please see the following sites for more information:
Once products are on contract they can be selected by prescribers. However, please note that once an item is on contract there is no guarantee prescribers will select the product – this is their clinical decision. The majority of contracts for NSW Health cover items for the broader health system, including hospitals. EnableNSW purchases and provides products included in our guidelines, not all products included in contracts. If you are successful supplier on any contract you will be provided with confirmation by HealthShare NSW’s Business Procurement Services Team.
